CLIMATE CHANGE HARMS THE ECONOMY

Climate change harms the economy. Every year we lose 1.6% of world GDP (1.2 billion per year) and in addition, about 400,000 people die each year. The countries that appear most affected are those developing countries that have an economy  focused in agriculture .Climate change increases malnutrition, poverty and diseases. It is expected that by 2030 it will lose 3.2% of global GDP due to air pollution. Less developed countries  a loss of 11%.The Prime Minister of Bangladesh said that if the temperature rises 1 degree, they lose 10% agriculture, 2% of GDP. If there were no such changes in temperature, the country could grow. Not only are developing countries affected, but countries such as the United States are also affected. It is believed that in 2030 its GDP will fall by 2%.
Climate change is an issue that affects us and after reading this story I knew it was more serious than I had believed. Not only is there pollution and increased temperatures, but also countries can no longer grow and the economy is lower.
